Darkness In A Soul
This soul of mine, it's dark and cold,
A place that's known, as six feet old.
Its emptiness, like a desert oak,
Its hope lost, with every spoke.
But then you came, with love so bright,
A beacon shining, through the darkest night.
You brought new life, to this barren soul,
And filled it with love, that makes it whole.
Your love, a flame, that warms my heart,
That breaks the chains, that kept me apart.
And though my soul, may still be dark,
With you beside me, it leaves its mark.
For you, my love, are my guiding light,
The one who brings, this soul to life.
With you beside me, I am not alone,
Together we stand, against the unknown.
